Feeling Better

Overall, the Fam is feeling much better than a week ago. Not yet 100%, but better. Here, Drew demonstrates just how much better he is feeling.

Candy Land Part Deux

As you can see, a week later, Drew is still not exactly excited to lose at Candy Land. It is also really hard to "let" Drew win at this game. He knows the rules!

Candyland

Drewbie got Candyland today. He did a pretty darn good job playing it. He won on his first try!

Here we see Drew at the start of the second game. It was just a Drew and Daddy game this time. As time went on, I was in the lead, and Drew was not too happy about it. I was about 10 spaces from the candy castle at the end of the game when his piece got stuck on licorice (he loses a turn). He started crying and getting mad when he landed on the licorice. He started flipping out and throwing pieces when I won on my next turn. He was PISSED. Needless to say, that fed perfectly into bedtime. We'll play again tomorow I'm sure.

Sick

Drewber is sick. Jill is sick. I was sick, and may be getting sick again. Yay Winter! Took Drew to the doctor yesterday, he had an ear infection, fever, cough, runny nose and a right lung that sounded like early pneumonia. He is now on Amoxicillan and Ibuprofen. He's feeling much better now.

Here is a picture of Drew a couple of weeks ago when he was first starting to get sick. He loved to play with the "smoke" coming out of the frog's eyeballs.

Mmmm... celery!

Last week, Drew was first exposed to the wonders of... the celery stalk! He loved it. (especially after Mom introduced the wonders of celery with peanut buter!)
