Luke bath

Happy Luke in a bath

Fast Drew

Speed, Speed, Speed...

Luke

We have been lacking in he Luke posts recently. It has been a busy couple of weeks, and a lot has happened kid-wise. Drew has learned to ride his bike like a champ, he rides as well as if he has always ridden without training wheels. He has also turned into quite the soccer star.

Luke has been busy with his own news.... like 2 teeth! Both bottom front teeth have already come in. He has been a little fussy, and a lot drooly, but things are starting to improve now that the teeth are in. He has also started spending some time in his Exersaucer... MEGA!

Drooly, pre-tooth Luke.

Happy Luke. Luke is a happy-go-lucky mellow kid. He loves to just sit on a lap and watch what's going on. He is starting to do a big shy smile all of the time.

Random Picture Update

It has been a long dang time since I posted anything, so here is another flood of updates. Soccer, bikes, and randomness.

Sweet rainbow. The leaves are changing, so the rain has returned.

Drew loves to talk on the phone. Here he is talking to his Great Grandpa from Kentucky last week.

Luke loves Drew... Drew loves Luke.

Here is what happens when we leave Drew unsupervised for a couple of minutes with his stamp pad.

Soccer Update

Drew is currently in his second session of soccer. This time, he is on the blue team... the "Soccer Monsters"

Something has clicked with soccer and this boy. He no longer gets crazy frustrated at missed gols, and he scores like a machine! He had a 4.5 goal average through his first 5 games with this team before he scored 8 today. These pics are from last week.

Go, Drew, Go! A common sight on the soccer field, everyone chasing Drew.

A different play from the one above. Same result.

So close Drew... better luck next time!

2-Wheeler

We took Drew's training wheels off this week. Here is a one day progression of his riding. In this first video, Drew starts himself off, then rides and ends with a bit of difficulty.

So about 5 minutes later, Drew gets the hang of riding in a straight line. He also gets cocky and tries his first stunts, in this case, standing on the pedals. Still working on stopping.

At the end of the afternoon, Drew could start, ride straight, and stop by using his brakes and without falling. The next day (no video yet) drew could ride down the street, turn around and come back, turn around and basically ride back and forth without stopping. He is definitely taking to this 2-wheeler thing.
