Karen's Korner

This past Saturday we went on the hunt for a nice innocent Christmas tree to slaughter. After barely surviving the ordeal at an extremely overly busy tree farm last year, we were looking forward to slowing down the pace a bit. We found a nice sized local farm called Karen's Korner that was only about 3 miles from the house. The weather was sunny and cold (notice a light frost in the picture below) but the sun heated up the farm quick enough. We found a good tree and had a good time.

Mommy and Drew exploring the selection of trees.

The old barn , Drew and long rows of Douglas firs.

Drew relaxes while Dad cuts down the tree.

Drew helps Dad carry the tree back to the car.

The Blaesingmobile loaded and ready for the trip home.

The perfect end to a fun day...
