Hot Summer Day

It was another swim lesson/skate park day. The clingy parents were in full effect again this morning, only the kids were winning the battle a lot more today. It would be hilarious to watch if the parents were not blocking our view.

At the skate park Drew and I busted out our moves. Here you can see me watching Drew rip it up.

Action photo! I am jumping out of the 5 foot high quarter pipe.

Drew likes to skate around the big pool/bowl thing. Click to enlarge and find him. I actually attempted to skate it this morning. It is pretty fun, but will take a lot of practice to not look like a total idiot while doing it. The damn walls are 12 feet high. It's big and scary, all right?!?

With the 90 degree heat later in the day, we decided to bust out Drew's Slip 'n Slide from last year. As you can see, he hasn't quite figured it out yet.

After watching his attempt, I had to show him how it's done.

He still didn't totally get it (he got a little better) but I slid him down the slide so he could get the Slippin' and Slidin' experience.

Drew had some fancy moves coming up to the slide. JIll and I think he might make an Olympic diver. Whaddya think?

Doesn't this lok refreshing?
